At Digital Infrastructure Conference in Riyadh MCIT Honors Integrated Dawiyat for Broadband Initiative
Minister of Communications and Information Technology Engineer Abdullah Al-Swaha honored Integrated Dawyiat, the Saudi Electricity Company’s fiber optics subsidiary, for its role and achievements in the deployment of broadband telecommunications networks across the Kingdom.
The honoring came at the Kingdom’s first Infrastructure Conference, which was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Riyadh on Sunday, April 21st, 2019, and ended the following Monday.
Dr. Ahmed Sindi, Dawiyat’s Chief Executive Officer, was also honored for the success of the national project and the company’s monumental achievements in the Kingdom’s telecommunications sector.
Fahad Al-Sudairi, the CEO of SEC, was present at the ceremony.
Haitham Al-Ohali, the Minister’s Deputy, visited Dawiyat’s booth at the conference, where he was given a presentation on the telecommunication’s services and technologies involved in deploying fiber optic networks.
Dawyiat’s paper at the conference discussed the company’s widespread experience in laying fiber optic cables and networks using cutting-edge technology. It also chronicled Dawiyat’s adoption of the latest technologies that set it apart from competitors, and showcased its work in broadband networks and its competitiveness as an independent equal-opportunity enabler for all of the Kingdom’s telecommunications operators.
